The collective project “Private Property” is dedicated to the themes of the body, human rights, the dictatorship of medicine, and the objectification of male and female bodies. The human body has always been an object of experiments, of interest to the government and corporations, the focus of advertising manipulations to increase levels of consumption. Corporations create new norms which become a necessary part of society life, insisting and sometimes demanding medical manipulations so that a person can be part of society and not become marginalised. The body has become the object of profit, and we have lost the right to it long ago. We present artists who work closely with this theme and are not afraid to talk about it loudly in their works. Participating artists: Alessandro Bennati, Angela Catucci, Aurelio Paolino, Belinda Biancotti, Chantal Invernizzi, Chiara Mannarà, Duo Adma (Adriana Giannini and Mariano Paternoster), Giulia Consorti, Giuse Iannello, Graziella Romeo, Ljdia Musso, Maria Gvardeitseva, Matteo Verre, Nadzeya Naurotskaya, Nelya Akimova (NELYA-NAKI), Rodika Ioneac, Pier Luigi Teani, Veronica Gresia, Wanling Mo.
